Daniel Lloyd '16

Wilberforce Scholarship recipient Daniel Lloyd

“Being a Wilberforce scholar changes my vision for the use of the things I’m learning,” says Daniel Lloyd ’16, “be it in biology, Bible classes, or English.” A biology major from Flowery Branch, GA, Daniel plans to attend medical school at Washington University, and then to pursue a career in surgery.

He says the Wilberforce program has shown him the importance of striving to learn from his professors, not only through their disciplines but also through their lives. “It has taught me to work harder as a student and a Christian,” he says. “It’s been one of the best experiences I’ve had.”
