Intercollegiate Athletics.

Covenant fields 13 successful athletic teams for men and women. We compete in the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) - Division III and in the National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA).

A Winning Tradition.

In recent years, nine Covenant College soccer players have earned NAIA All-American postseason honors and the Covenant College women’s basketball team moved into the NAIA Division II top 25. After completing the first season of women’s varsity tennis in school history, four Covenant players were awarded postseason honors. The men’s golf team recently placed second in the conference, and the Lady Scots soccer team advanced to nationals.

Christian Commitment.

Winning is not the ultimate measuring stick for Covenant athletic programs—though our Scots have established a winning tradition. Just as in everything else we do, athletics give us the chance to celebrate God’s gifts. His Word is visible through the attitudes and actions of our entire student body, whether they are Scots players or fans demonstrating great sportsmanship and enthusiasm.
