Out of the blue, I received a letter from Dr. Heddendorf to let me know of his new book - he and I both shared a common bond on comics and culture and I will never forget him. I look forward to seeing him again in Heaven... and we will laugh with great joy!

Dr. Heddendorf was one of the most effective professors that I had in '85-'86. Remember how he started each class with a comic on the overhead projector? He was the first professor to come and talk to me while I was just sitting in the Great Hall. He had just published his book on humor and faith...So sorry for us, but of course he is in glory.
