MICHAEL WARD SPEAKS ABOUT HIS BOOK ON C.S. LEWIS, APRIL 10
News :: Home

Anglican clergyman, writer, and speaker Dr. Michael Ward will lecture on his recent book Planet Narnia: The Seven Heavens in the Imagination of C.S. Lewis in Covenant College's chapel on Thursday, April 10, at 11:00 a.m.

In Planet Narnia, Ward argues that Lewis secretly based the Chronicles of Narnia on the seven heavens of the medieval cosmos. This year Ward is touring the United States and United Kingdom, lecturing on his book.

While in the area, Ward will also speak to the C.S. Lewis Society of Chattanooga at Rock Point Books on Friday, April 11, at 7:00 p.m.

Dr. Ward was chaplain of Peterhouse in the University of Cambridge from 2004-2008. He previously lived and worked at The Kilns, C.S. Lewis's Oxford home.

The public is invited to attend his lecture at Covenant.
