AAC Names Five Covenant Athletes "Players of the Week"


The Appalachian Athletic Conference named five Covenant athletes "Players of the Week" on September 22, 2008.

 

John Eger

In men's soccer, John Eger '12, a goalkeeper from High Point, NC, made 7 total saves, forcing the game against Southern Polytechnic State University into overtime.

 

 

 

Erica Adams

In women's volleyball, Erica Adams '12, a hitter from Ft. Lauderdale, FL, made 38 total kills last week. Erica was also nominated for the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) Player of the Week.

 

 

 

Katrina Unglaub

Katrina Unglaub '12, also a women's volleyball player, had 75 total digs last week. She is a libero from Tallahassee, FL.

 

 

 

 

Sarah Williams

In women's soccer, Sarah Williams '10, a goalkeeper from Verona, KY, made 9 saves and only allowed two points last week.

 

 

 

 

Kalie Estrada

Kalie Estrada '09, a forward in women's soccer from Brandon, FL, scored 4 goals last week.
