Student Clubs & Organizations

These groups provide a great way to get to know a variety of students on campus, to develop leadership skills, and to explore and invest in particular areas of interest. Students with new ideas and passions are regularly adding new clubs and may contact Student Senate to join an existing club or to express an interest in starting a new club.

We hope to accomplish this by hosting art shows displaying the work of students and professors. We periodically invite guest speakers to exhibit their own work and lecture on related topics. We will also have an artist workshop where a guest artist will lead a workshop in a specific media, seeking to advance and enhance the art skills of students.

Covenant Ultimate strives to involve students in the sport of Ultimate, which has been defined by the Ultimate Players Association (UPA) board as a "player defined and controlled non-contact team sport played with a flying disc on a playing surface with end zones in which all actions are governed by the 'Spirit of the Game.'" As an official UPA rule of sportsmanship and respect which governs the playing of Ultimate, "Spirit of the Game" closely parallels our objectives which are to: (1) Demonstrate God and His love to other teams through attitude and sportsmanship, (2) Become proficient at the sport of Ultimate, and (3) Build strong relationships between players. We encourage all students to join even if they have never played Ultimate before or don't feel athletic enough because almost anyone can learn to play Ultimate regardless of athletic ability or previous experience.

We students meet for prayer, visit the widows at their weekly Bible study, send monthly letters to widows in the area, do monthly work projects for them, and invite the widows to campus for a student-hosted brunch each semester.

Young Life is a ministry that loves living life. Our goal is to learn to love Christ and love people more and more every day. We believe high- and middle- school students deserve the right to have genuine friendship and to know what life can hold for them. Young Life leaders are caring adults who come onto high and middle school campuses sharing the hope of a relationship with Jesus as well as fun and lasting friendships. From club and camp to Campaigners and other activities, teenagers will have a blast laughing, trying new things and being with their friends. We are involved with urban, suburban and rural students in Catoosa and Walker counties and hope to be in Dade County in the future.
