Why did you choose Covenant?
God made it clear that Covenant was where He wanted me to spend these four years of my life. The leadership, faculty and student unity at Covenant was unprecedented in my search for the right school. I did not expect to find a school where the faculty and students enjoyed such a great relationship. We are a family here and I have really enjoyed getting to know my brothers and sisters in Christ.

How is Covenant unique?
Covenant is unique in that it is blessed with wise and godly leaders whose heart's desire is to see young men and women grow in Christ. A school is only as strong as its leaders and the leaders of this college have a great dependency on the strength of God. Jesus Christ is the head of this campus and every member of this community is learning what it means to live out the gospel.

What has been your favorite experience at Covenant?
The epic 2008 spring break trip would have to be my favorite experience during my time at Covenant. I have never made so many incredible memories in the expanse of one week.

What is your favorite class?
Cellular and Molecular Biology, taught by Dr. Nelson, is by far my favorite class at Covenant. I have never been more struck by the complexities of God's creation.

What person at Covenant has had the greatest impact on you?
My two halls, Ithaca and Bloodfield, have had the greatest impact on me during my time at Covenant. I have shared amazing experiences with the guys on these two halls that I will never forget.

What's your favorite part of the day?

My favorite part of the day is finishing all of my work and ritually watching one episode of Seinfeld every night with guys on the hall.

What are your post-graduation plans?
My post-graduation plans are to serve as a high school biology teacher while pursuing a master's degree in school administration. I would like to begin a career in school administration soon after receiving my master's degree.

How do you think Covenant is preparing you for the future?

Covenant has done an excellent job in building my scientific knowledge through challenging classes and passionate professors. Likewise, the education department has given me the necessary philosophical and worldview training needed to fuel my passion for education. The close relationship between my science and education classes has continued to prepare me for a career in education.
