Behind the Art Barn on a sunny Sunday afternoon.
Why did you choose Covenant?
I first fell in love with Covenant when I visited in high school. I practiced with the soccer team and visited classes, noticing that everywhere I went, the college truly lived out its motto: In all things Christ preeminent.
What has been your favorite experience at Covenant?
Playing in a blizzard with my hall in naught but swimming trunks.
What is your favorite class?
Theory of Community Development. The scope of my worldview has been expanded through this class. My ideas of poverty and the poor have been radically changed.
What’s your favorite part of the day at Covenant?
Sunset. The sunsets here are incredible! The Lord really shines His glory in His creation.
What are your post-graduation plans?
At the Lord’s willing, I plan to live overseas in a poor community (maybe in Africa or the Middle East), hoping to aid in poverty alleviation. I intend to follow His leading to the ends of the earth.
How is Covenant equipping you for the future?
Covenant has equipped me in so many ways. I have learned to seek Him in everything that I do (Col. 1:18): my studies, sports, relationships, etc. My experience here at Covenant has taught me what it means to be a man after God’s own heart. God is using Covenant to continually mold me into a son that follows His will.
