Why did you choose Covenant?
I got recruited by the soccer coach, visited, loved it.
How is Covenant unique?
The most prominent distinction I have encountered would be the concentration of young believers living together. The opportunity for spiritual growth is incredible.
What has been your favorite experience at Covenant?
Living with my roommate, Ross Blaising on the Ghetto.
What is your favorite class, and why?
My favorite class is “African American Literature.” Studying Jean Toomer’s Cane has been one of the highlights of my semester.
What person at Covenant has had the greatest impact on you, and why?
Ross Blaising. He is a constant friend and an honest accountability partner. Living with him has taught me a thousand things about myself – how to love and serve others and how to be increasingly faithful in my walk with Christ.
What's your favorite part of the day at Covenant?
From after dinner to around midnight. I hang out in the library, read, drink some coffee, journal, write papers, and so on.
What are your post-graduation plans?
I hope to teach literature, whether in high school or college. We will see what doors open.
How is Covenant equipping you for the future?
Covenant’s English professors are teaching me a heck of a lot about literature, how to read it and write about it, so that’s important for my future. Most importantly, Covenant is teaching me heck of a lot about what it looks like to walk with the Lord in a community.
