Favorite place on campus
The psychology lab. It's where I work and since I open it up in the mornings, I am there when no one else is awake and it's quiet and peaceful and the smell of fresh coffee is in the air. But then there is the ebb and flow of people throughout the day, and it's fun to see familiar faces.
Why did you choose Covenant?
It's a Christian college that is serious about the integration of faith and learning, that has a strong academic standing, a good psychology program, and a great soccer team. And Covenant gave me the scholarship I needed.
What do you like about Covenant?
Covenant's small enough that it's not overwhelming but not so small that I know everybody.
What has been your favorite experience at Covenant?
The soccer team.
What is your favorite class?
U.S. history to 1877. Dr. Morton is hysterical, and is at the same time very organized and clear in his portrayal of history, not sugarcoating it, but presenting it as it really was. It has probably been my most thought-provoking and beneficial class so far as far as my personal and intellectual development goes.
