Favorite place on campus
There are a lot of fun places to be around campus, such as the Great Hall, Andreas lobby, or outside on a beautiful day.  But the best by far is the hall I live on in Andreas Hall, Ithaca.  It is just a really fun place to be with a lot of awesome guys.  There is always something to do or someone to talk to, and it is just a really fun, encouraging place.

Why did you choose Covenant?
I chose Covenant because I wanted to grow in all areas of my life, and I felt like Covenant was a place I could do this.  Not only is it challenging academically, but it also helps me grow in my maturity, spiritual life, and friendships.

How is Covenant unique?
Covenant is unique for the reasons I chose it.  Covenant really challenges you academically while at the same time helping you grow in other areas of your life.  The community at Covenant is unseen at any other school.  The bonds that you form with your hallmates is awesome, and they are friendships that will continue for life.  Most importantly, Covenant truly does live out its motto, "In all things Christ preeminent."

What has been your favorite experience at Covenant?
The first semester of my sophomore year my hall went on a camping trip.  It was really great to hang out with all the guys and enjoy each other.  When we woke up the next day we just hung out and went hiking, and then had a cookout with another hall on campus.  It was a lot of fun getting to know my hallmates better and enjoy a great camping trip.

What is your favorite class?
I really enjoyed Principles of Sociology. We learned some really practical things in that class, and Dr. Chiareli is a great professor.  I learned some things in that class that will be useful for the rest of my life.

What person at Covenant has had the greatest impact on you?
Joel Piedt.  Joel was my RA my freshman year, and he really had a positive impact on my life.  Just to see the way that he lives life and loves God is such a positive example of a role model.  He is a lot of fun to be around, and a great guy.

What's your favorite part of the day?
Dinner time. Going to dinner with friends is my favorite time of day because you have finished all your classes for the day, and have a nice time to relax, eat, and hang out with friends.

The education that you receive at Covenant helps you in all areas of your life.  Being a liberal arts college, you learn more than just your specific discipline, so it prepares you for what is to come once you graduate.
