Gastonia, North Carolina

Activities
Intramural sports, good conversations, spending time with my roommates and hall, reading, running, lots of studying

Favorite place on campus
I think it would be the Great Hall because I get to see friends who don't live on my hall or who I don't have classes with and catch up on what is going on in their lives.

Honors received at Covenant
Dean's List

Why did you choose Covenant?
When I walked on campus the first time I visited, I got this sense that I needed to be here.  It sounds cheesy, but God was working.  I know that Covenant is where God has called me to be.

How is Covenant unique?
The community.  This is the answer everyone gives because it's true.  There is a community of brothers and sisters here at Covenant that is hard to find elsewhere.  I am surrounded by people who love me and love the Lord.

What has been your favorite experience at Covenant?
Probably filming Mac Movie with my hall freshman year.  Mac Hall has a movie competition every year, and my hall really came together and had a blast filming it.

What is your favorite class?
Intro to History with Dr. Green. He brings up many issues in studying history that I had never thought about until then.  I view history completely differently now.

What's your favorite part of the day?
The morning. My roommates and I get up early every morning, eat breakfast, and read our Bibles together in the Great Hall.  We sit in one of the booths facing the windows looking out on the mountains.  It is so peaceful and a great start to my day.

What are your post-graduation plans?
I would like to be involved in missions in some capacity.

How do you think Covenant is preparing you for the future?

I believe Covenant is helping equip me for a life of service.  I am being challenged, loved, and poured into here by professors, staff, and friends.  As I am being ministered to, I am challenged to minister and serve others right now and after I leave Covenant.
