Why did you choose Covenant?
It was certainly a God thing! I helped a friend move into her residence hall, and although I was supposed to move into Vanderbilt the next morning, by that night I felt that the Lord was calling me to Covenant. Yes, my decision to come to Covenant was a quick one, but that was all the time I needed to see the enveloping community, amazing spiritual family, and great academic life on campus. I felt that the Lord has molded Covenant into a place where iron sharpens iron and where students are encouraged to grow as faithful servants of the Kingdom--and I was excited to become a part of it! I am still able to look back often and smile at Yahweh's grace in my decision to come to Covenant.

What has been your favorite experience at Covenant?
I have had countless amazing experiences at Covenant, making it difficult to choose only one, but winning the AAC championship for the first time in the history of Covenant women's basketball is undoubtedly one of them.

What is your favorite class?
My favorite class at Covenant is Developmental Psychology, because while teaching his students the various kinds of developmental stages of infants, children, and adolescents, Dr. Rulon does an incredible job of reminding me of a truth I often forget: we are fearfully and wonderfully made.

What are your post-graduation plans?
As a part of the 3-2 pre-nursing program at Covenant, I plan to get my RN and MSN with a concentration in either anesthesia or labor and delivery at Vanderbilt's Graduate School of Nursing.

How do you think Covenant is equipping you for the future?
Through my classes, professors, teammates, and my community at Covenant, I am constantly being equipped to live every facet of my life for Jesus. Through my sisters and brothers here on this campus, He has been transforming my heart to devote "all my being's ransomed powers, all my thoughts and words and doings, all my days and all my hours" to do His will for His glory.
