POSITION SUMMARY

The administrative assistant for Covenant College’s endowment campaign is responsible for providing a wide range of administrative and office support to a team of regional directors of development and will help facilitate the efficient operation of the endowment campaign. The 7-year campaign is scheduled to begin immediately and will end in 2025.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  1. Enter data using a customer relationship management (CRM) system.

  2. Manage schedules of regional directors.

  3. Screen and route written/electronic mail and telephone calls.

  4. Coordinate and schedule travel arrangements.

  5. Call donors to schedule appointments.

  6. Prepare clear and well-written communications on behalf of the regional directors.

  7. Transcribe meeting notes.

  8. Prepare and coordinate various reports, presentations & meeting materials.

  9. Proactively follow up on outstanding tasks and issues related to the endowment campaign.

  10. Prepare, submit and track expense reports and maintain records.

  11. Other job duties as assigned.

REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Minimum three (3) years of related work experience.

  • Proficiency with Google Apps or Microsoft Office Suite.

 

PREFERRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree.

  • An acceptance of and commitment to Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord.

  • An understanding of the mission and purpose of Covenant College

  • Must be able to assent to Covenant College’s Staff Commitments

 

PHYSICAL WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • This job operates in a professional office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines for at least 75% of the work day.

  • Remain in a standing or stationary position at least 50% of the work day.
