Volunteers of the Year: Michael Ann and Thomas Chapman ‘87

Both Thomas and Michael Ann majored in administration and supervision at Covenant College. Thomas earned his MBA in marketing and econometrics from Kennesaw State University in 2004 and has worked for several banks in a variety of roles, including performance consultant and corporate trainer. Thomas now works at Regions Bank in the greater Atlanta area where he trains and coaches employees and is a project leader for curriculum development, process improvement, and associate engagement.

Michael Ann works for Fitzgerald Construction doing accounting and administrative work. In her free time, she loves planning events for the Atlanta Wilberforce committee, an Atlanta area dog rescue organization, and her church.

Thomas and Michael Ann make an effective team because their talents complement each others’. Michael Ann’s logistical skills help her work well in behind the scenes tasks and preparation in order to utilize and highlight Thomas’ out-front leadership abilities. Covenant is particularly blessed to have their combined powers supporting the College’s mission. The Chapmans reside in Acworth, Georgia where Thomas faithfully serves Covenant College as the Chair of the Atlanta Wilberforce Committee.
