Returning to the Classroom after Raising a Family

Becky Greninger '90 graduated with a major in elementary education. She currently teaches second grade at Covenant Christian Academy in Cumming, Georgia. She first started teaching there shortly after graduation but took nearly twenty years off to raise her children. "I got back to the classroom five years ago, teaching at Perimeter School for several years, but when an opportunity opened up at Covenant Christian Academy, where all four of my own children attended, I took it," she added.

Becky enjoys her current teaching position and has no plans to do anything else in the next few years.

"Though sometimes exhausting, it is such a privilege to be able to pour myself into these young students, showing them the wonders of God’s creation and pointing them to Christ as their ultimate hope."

She stated that God has been faithful to her throughout the past 30 years. She's thankful to have been given the desires of her heart: being an elementary school teacher, a wife, and a mother. She and her husband Phil ('90) will soon be empty nesters. Both of their daughters are current Covenant students!

Thank you for your Kingdom work, Becky.
