COVID-19 Weekly Update - week ending 2/5/21

I hope the semester is off to a great start for everyone.  We have our first confirmed positive case of the spring semester on campus, and it provides a good opportunity to remind us all to get back in the habit of avoiding the "3Cs": closed spaces, crowded places, and close-contact settings.  Please do your part to keep your circle of close contacts to a minimum, observe the table limits in the Great Hall, and don't pile a lot of people into a room for prayer and praise or to watch the Super Bowl this weekend.  The new COVID-19 variants are highly transmissible so we must commit together to safe practices out of love for one another.
This all becomes more challenging with the colder weather.  To help with that this semester, we will again be designating certain classrooms as available for club meetings and other distanced gatherings on nights and weekends.  These classrooms will be marked with signage and hand sanitizer and disinfectant wipes will be provided.  New this semester, Brock, Mills and Sanderson will also be open on Sundays.  These lobbies and larger spaces will be ideal for distanced prayer and praise and other larger meetings during weeks when meeting outside is impractical.  Thank you for being proactive in caring for the community.
