Covenant Supporting Relief Efforts for Haiti

Following the devastating earthquake in Haiti, the Covenant College community seeks to support relief efforts for the Haitian community.


Listed below are ways in which Covenant is currently supporting relief efforts.  Additional initiatives and opportunities will be added as they become available.  Above all, please pray for God's blessing upon the country of Haiti and those who seek to assist Haitians recover and rebuild.


  • A fundraising table is in the Great Hall during lunch and dinner January 18-23, 2010.
  • Donations will be collected at the Campus Activities Board's Student Artist Series concert January 23, 2010, in Sanderson Hall auditorium.
  • Donations will be accepted at the Campus Activities Board's Saturday Night Live event on January 30, 2010, in the chapel.
  • A benefit concert will be held Saturday, February 13, 2010, from 4:00-8:30 p.m. at the Ice Cream Show in downtown Chattanooga. Covenant students Brandon Snipes '11 and Jacob Piland '13 and friends will be performing. Donations will be accepted.


Money raised will be given to two non-profit organizations: World Relief and Great Commission Alliance.  The funds will be used to provide water, food, and medical supplies.


In addition, Mission to the World, the world-missions agency of the Presbyterian Church in America, accepts donations on its website and posts updates about Haiti on its Facebook page.
