Rev. Thabiti Anyabwile to Speak at Imago Dei Conference

Covenant College is pleased to welcome Rev. Thabiti Anyabwile to campus as the speaker for our annual Imago Dei Conference. The conference is designed to provide a space for thoughtful dialogue and interaction with biblical personhood and often includes topics like identity, community, marriage, family, and what it means to be created in God's image. Rev. Anyabwile will deliver four lectures that are free and open to the public, beginning February 26, 2018. 

 

Rev. Thabiti Anyabwile is one of the pastors for Anacostia River Church in Washington, DC. He has also served as an elder and pastor in churches in North Carolina and the Cayman Islands. After a few years as a practicing Muslim, Anyabwile was converted under the preaching of the gospel in the Washington, DC area. Anyabwile is the author of several books, including Reviving the Black ChurchThe Life of God in the Soul of the ChurchThe Gospel for MuslimsWhat Is a Healthy Church Member?The Decline of African-American Theology, and The Faithful Preacher. He blogs regularly at The Front Porch and Pure Church.
