2015 Scots Trot 5k

Scots Trot 5k

Covenant College is pleased to host the annual Scots Trot 5k on April 25, 2015, at 9:00 a.m. The 5k is open to the public and set atop beautiful Lookout Mountain, GA, featuring some of Covenant’s well-loved running trails.

“We are excited about the upcoming Scots Trot and looking forward to having another large crowd participate,” said race director Katie Stanford. “Last year was the first year we opened it up to alumni and the community and we had a blast. It was fun to have so many people on campus and racing on our 5k course and we are hoping to have even more compete this year. We have expanded the award categories this year so all ages are welcome and have the opportunity to compete for an award!”

The 3.1-mile course will begin in the parking lot of Shadowlands and will be an out-and-back on trails, broken up with a loop in the middle. It will finish in the Shadowlands athletic field. There will be water provided in the middle of the course and at the finish line.

Parking is available in the Shadowlands and baseball field lots.
