Top Scots Moments Results

Men's Basketball

The final votes have been cast for Covenant’s top-five athletic moments of the 2012-13 season.  Over 200 voters chose their favorite Scots memories out of 11 nominees. The results are in, and topping the list as the best moment of the 2012-13 sports season is the winning record for men’s basketball. The Scots finished the basketball season 14-12, clinching the first winning record for men’s basketball since the 1998-99 season. 

Scots fans named the following moments the best athletics memories of 2012-13:

No. 1

Men’s basketball team registers first winning season since 1998-99.

No. 2

Women’s soccer head coach Mark Duble wins 200th career game during homecoming weekend.

No. 3 

Volleyball team claims GSAC crown and multiple postseason awards in one of the best seasons in school history.

No. 4 

Baseball team selected to its first NCCAA World Series after winning a modern-record 28 games.


No. 5 

Women’s basketball upsets GSAC-leading Salem 71-70 in overtime.
