Bishop Henry Luke Orombi & Andrew Peterson at Neal Conference

Bishop Henry Luke Orombi is the speaker for the 2014 Neal Conference on True Spirituality at Covenant College. The annual conference runs from September 15-19, 2014. Andrew Peterson is the musical guest for this year’s conference.

Former archbishop of the Church of Uganda, Orombi retired as archbishop to focus on preaching the gospel. During his time as archbishop, Orombi was recognized for reconciliation between dioceses, infrastructure development, his engagement with youth, and a campaign to end child and human sacrifice.

 

Orombi studied at Bishop Tucker Theological College, and St John’s College. Before his tenure as archbishop, he served as a diocesan youth officer in the Moyo district and Adjumani district, archdeacon at Goli in the Zombo district, and as bishop of the Nebbi diocese.


Andrew Peterson

Andrew Peterson 

Andrew Peterson is a creative force in more than music. An award-winning author, he released the final book in his Wingfeather Saga series this summer. Peterson’s newest album, Light for the Lost Boy, was well-received by critics in 2012, and his previous album, Counting Stars, debuted at number one on iTunes and sixth in Billboard.
