"Celebrate Christmas" at Covenant

Come experience the joy of Christmas at Covenant College’s annual concert celebration on Thursday, December 12 and Friday, December 13 at 7:00 p.m.. Free reservations for concert seats and the dessert reception are available using this form. VIP parking will be available for purchase upon arrival.

The Celebrate Christmas concert at Covenant is the result of collaboration throughout the entire music department and represents the work of students and faculty alike. Professors Scott Finch ’96, Lok Kim, Jim Ward ’72, and Kara Riley will direct ensembles during the performance.

The concert will feature a wide range of musical talent including the Jazz Ensemble, Covenant Singers, Chamber Singers, Brass Ensemble, Covenant Chorale, Chamber Orchestra, and the Lookout Children’s Community Chorus, with Jane Metcalfe ’19 as our featured organist.

The concert will center on the theme “The Holy Lamb of God,” which calls attention to the appropriate response of reflecting on Christ’s first advent in a posture of rest and praise. We cannot be silent because God has provided us with a love that our world unknowingly craves. Celebrate Christmas at Covenant invites attendees to be enamored once again with the Savior who is the The Holy Lamb of God.

We hope that you will join us in praise of our Lord!

Doors for the concerts will open at 6:30 p.m. and the concerts begin at 7:00 p.m. Be sure to reserve your spot in the Great Hall for “Cocoa, Carols, and Cookies” where Brass Choir and Chamber Singers will be featured.
