Men’s Cross Country & Soccer Teams Win USA South
The Covenant College men’s cross country team took home the USA South championship for the second year in a row on November 1, 2014. This is the first time since the 1994 and 1995 seasons that the Scots have earned back-to-back championships.
Graham Massot ’17 took first place at the tournament, with a personal record in the 8k of 27:03. Four other Scots finished in the top ten at the tournament: Eliot Kaufmann ’18, John Weaks ’18, Stephen Dillon ’15, and Jack Williams ’15.

Covenant men’s soccer claimed their first conference title since joining the NCAA Division III. In a 2-0 win over Maryville College on November 8, the Scots clinched the USA South championship and earned a spot in tournament play. Snoopy Davidson ’15 led six players on the all-tournament team, earning the title of MVP.
During the NCAA tournament, the Scots fell to Whitworth College in the last few minutes of their match, ending the Scots’ season with a final record of 15-5-2. Read more about Covenant’s match with Whitworth here.
