Why did you choose Covenant?
The community sold me the second I stepped on campus.

Did you visit Covenant as a high school student? If so, how did that visit impact your decision to attend Covenant?
I knew Covenant would be where I end up pretty much after the first visit. The school sang "Abide with Me" in chapel and I was sold.

How is Covenant unique?
You see so many different people, like you would all other colleges, but Covenant is unique because we are one body and one community in Christ's name.

Describe Covenant in three words.
Purpose driven community.

What has been your favorite experience at Covenant?
Learning from so many different people from different backgrounds and seeing how and why Christ has them at Covenant.

What is your favorite class so far?
Intro to Philosophy. I love the opportunity to think in deeper and more creative ways. It's been the most difficult but also the most enjoyable class thus far.

What makes hall life at Covenant unique?
At most other colleges, halls are just halls; community just happens or it doesn't. At Covenant, community within halls is instigated from the second school starts. Events are planned, there are late night Walmart runs, and various other things. Covenant's hall life gives you the best opportunity to build relationships that last a lifetime.

What are some things you enjoy about your major?
I enjoy the fact that it challenges me to think and explore what I believe. Theology is a beautiful thing when it's studied.

What person at Covenant has had the greatest impact on you, and why?
David Fagot. He has been so influential to me. He's a senior and he gave a dorky freshman kid like me the time of day. He has been nothing but encouraging.

How is Covenant preparing you for life after graduation?
Covenant is preparing me to be in ministry. I want to become a worship pastor, and covenant is a great place for me to grow as a man and also grow in my biblical knowledge.

How is Covenant equipping you for active membership in the church?
Covenant is equipping me to walk in faithfulness and be willing to serve.
