Covenant made me feel at home

“As soon as I stepped on campus for a visit, I felt so welcomed—everybody was so friendly and made me feel at home.”

The faculty, staff, and students genuinely care

“When first touring, I was struck by how many students, staff, and faculty came up and introduced themselves to me and my parents. They all seemed to care genuinely about who I was and what I was interested in. This was confirmed upon arriving as a freshman: Covenant is a community of faculty and students who earnestly seek to love Christ and one another. That is a rare and precious thing that I could not have found at a public institution.”

I had a deep desire to be discipled

“My family didn't go to church very often, and I went to a large metro-Atlanta public school; therefore, I had very little Christian community around me and had a deep desire to be discipled. I stumbled upon Covenant randomly, as I had no idea that it existed until my senior year. I came up for a tour and knew immediately that Covenant was where the Lord wanted me to be.”

The strength of the community and spiritual formation aspect

“I was impressed by the strength of the community and the bigger picture of the project, mainly the spiritual formation aspect of what the college was trying to do.”

I’d imagined, and already been accepted to, a big school with tens of thousands of students. But when I was about to leave to go to a school back in Italy, God gave me a new heart, and it became clear to me that I should stay here and attend Covenant. God called me to learn about Him and His Kingdom.Read More

Covenant was my dream college

“I don't come from a super well-off family, so I applied for all of the scholarships I could and worked very hard with my parents and my AC to make Covenant financially possible. In the end, I had to make an expensive, lasting commitment, but Covenant was my dream college, so I have faith that God has me right where he wants me.”
