Daily Visit FAQ

Before You Visit

Every visit begins with a campus tour and includes a meeting with an Admissions Counselor. If you book a morning visit your schedule will include chapel at 11am. You can customize the rest of your visit in the registration form.

Sample schedule:

9:00am Campus tour
10:00am Class visit
11:00am Chapel
11:45am Residence Hall Tour
12:15pm Lunch in the Great Hall
1:00pm Meet with a Professor
1:30pm Meet with an Admissions Counselor

Yes! We love meeting parents and siblings. Please register each high school student separately for the visit.

This depends on how you customize your visit. A campus tour takes an hour and a meeting with an Admissions Counselor is 30 minutes.

Every visit includes an hour-long campus tour and a 30 minute meeting with an Admissions Counselor. You are able to add a Residence Hall tour, lunch, a class visit, a professor meeting, a coach meeting, and an overnight stay. Some of these options are limited depending on your high school year.

You may request a 30 minute meeting with a Covenant faculty member within an academic department. You must be at least a junior in high school and tell us what academic program you’re interested in.

If you are interested in playing varsity athletics during college we recommend requesting a meeting with a coach. Prior to coming to campus, please complete the athletics interest form.

Yes! Class visits are available for high school juniors and seniors. If you are interested in visiting a class we recommend booking a morning visit. Class visits are much more limited following an afternoon tour. We have a short list of classes that you can choose from when you check in for your visit. Your parents are welcome to attend class with you, if there is room in the classroom.

If you schedule a morning visit, you and your family are invited to eat lunch in our Great Hall with a current student.

An overnight stay is an excellent chance to experience residential life at Covenant. We offer overnights on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday evenings. You must be at least 16 years old to spend the night on campus, and we recommend it for high school juniors or seniors.

If you register for a 9am or 9:50am tour on Wednesday and Friday or a 9:50am tour on Tuesday or Thursday you will have the option to register for an overnight stay on the night before your visit.

On Monday through Thursday you will have the option to register for an overnight stay the same night of your visit day.

We highly recommend visiting when school is in session. But for those who cannot make that happen, we do offer campus tours and Admissions Counselor meetings during the summer and school breaks.

If you visit during the summer or a school break, please come back for a sneakPEAK or an admitted students event!

We are open some Saturdays during the semester. These visits are similar to summer visits with a tour and an Admissions meeting.

If you visit on a Saturday, please come back for a sneakPEAK or an admitted students event!

The Day of Your Visit

Registration for visit days normally close two days before. Registration for a Monday will close 72 hours prior. This gives us time to prepare to host you well.

We will text you your schedule the afternoon before your visit

The Guest Parking Lot is located next to the Probasco Welcome Center. When you pull into the parking lot, look for the parking spot with your last name on it.

All Daily Visits begin in the Probasco Welcome Center, located across from Carter Hall.

Wear what’s comfortable! We do conduct tours in the rain and cold so come prepared!

Please let us know any additional requests or needs when you register for your visit. Our Great Hall offers dietary accommodation for the top 9 allergens.

Check out our Visit Resources page for suggested accommodations.

When you register for a visit you will receive a text from our team confirming your registration. If you need to change or cancel your plans you can text that number. Alternatively you can email campusvisit@covenant.edu or call 706-419-1127.
