Campus Activities Board

The Campus Activities Board (CAB) exists to provide quality campus programming which reflects the purpose and goals of Covenant College and its Student Association, and which appeals to a broad range of student interests. Examples of CAB events are Jazz on the Overlook, 80's Skate Night, and Spring Formal.

CAB Organization

CAB Director

The CAB Director will lead a committee of four students in the programming of campus wide events. He/she will budget for each semester accordingly. The director will run weekly meetings with the committee and report regularly to the Coordinator of Student Leadership. The CAB Director works closely with the Student Body Treasurer to insure that finances are managed responsibly. The CAB Director is an active, voting Senate member. 

Finance Coordinator

The Finance Coordinator is responsible for the inventory and use of CAB assets, as well as tickets and payments for events. He/she will work closely with the director to stay on budget and will keep track of CAB expenses. He/she will also work with the director to secure venues for off-campus CAB events. He/she will also be in charge of reserving spaces for on campus events. 

Advertising/Decorations Coordinator

The Advertising/Decorations Coordinator will be responsible for advertising all CAB events to the student body in a timely manner. He/she is responsible for poster distribution, the CAB bulletin board, and any forms of CAB’s social media. (eg. Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc. ) The Advertising Coordinator will also work closely with the CAB director and handle decor and design at CAB events.

Food Coordinator

The Food Coordinator will be responsible for acquiring caterers at all CAB events. If the event requires outside vendors (eg. Bakertree Festival), he/she will be responsible for contacting and managing those vendors.

Music Coordinator

The Music Coordinator is responsible for communication with any bands/artists at events. He/she assists with artist contracts, and also communicates with DJs at any events. He/she is also responsible for coordinating any additional hired sound needs.
